WHAT IS IBBA


 

「國際經營管理全英語學士學位學程」(International Business Bachelor Program,簡稱IBBA) 自111學年度正式對外招收大一新生,設計宗旨為培育跨境移動,具備紮實企業經營知識與跨文化溝通和管理的人才,計畫重點「3M (Mutual understanding, Mobility, and Migration of skilled labor )」,透過彈性、跨領域與跨國境修課機制來達成目標。 第一年與第二年修畢基礎經營管理、跨文化溝通課程後,學生可選擇銜接與本校(院)簽約合作的國外姐妹校出國交換一年,或以二年時間取得雙學位,熟習跨文化的學習或工作環境。外籍學生亦可銜接院內國際企業、資訊管理與財務管理的專業學程。

二、 扎根:基礎經營管理技能與多文化學習環境

配合博雅教育,培養具備經營管理技能、企業倫理與企業社會責任實踐的認識。全英語課程與多國籍學生組成的學習場域,輔以跨文化溝通和英文簡報與寫作的課程訓練,使學生習慣以第二語言和他群文化學生共同學習/工作的情境。

三、 躍升:跨境移動、踏出舒適圈

學生能選擇前往與本校/院合作之國外姐妹機構交換一年,或二年取得雙聯學位。本校目前姐妹校遍布五大洲42國超過200間機構,學生必能找到他們有興趣的學校進行交換。 本院與英國及加拿大知名商學院簽訂雙聯學位,學生可選擇。

  1. 加拿大維多利亞大學的彼得·古斯塔夫森商學院 (Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria; UViC)。
  2. 英國愛塞克斯大學(University of Essex)。

我們將持續和歐美名校洽談簽署雙聯學位合作,提供學生深入學習的機會,實踐跨境學習培育國際商業人才。

四、 躍升:外籍生深入了解台灣的經營管理。

帶領外籍生進一步探索包括台灣在內的東南亞國家的經營管理文化。學生可選擇國際碩士學程與企管系開設的全英文授課課程 (以亞太地區跨國企業之經營管理、產業及市場議題、法律制度等相關議題為主),資管系 (資料科學、數據分析專業),或財管系課程 (國際財務管理與投資專業)。除講授課程,另提供本地實作課程、跨國移地教學、或跨國實作課程,讓學生深入認識台灣及東南亞社區。


The International Business Bachelor Program (IBBA) opens for freshman students in the 2022 academic year. The program is designed to cultivate talents with cross-border mobility, solid knowledge of business management, cross-cultural communication and management skills. The program focuses on 3M, namely “mutual understanding”, “mobility”, and “migration” of skilled labor, through a flexible, cross-disciplinary, and cross-border course-taking mechanism. After completing foundation courses in business management and cross-cultural communication in the first and second years, students can choose to pursue a one-year exchange study abroad with one of our partner schools or earn a dual degree in a two-year period to familiarize themselves with the cross-cultural learning or work environment. International students can also choose to bridge to the professional programs in international business, information management and financial management programs offered by the College of Management.

A. Professional Expertise

  • Ability to express oneself in a second language (L2, meaning non-native) and communicate across cultures
  • Ability to be mobile across borders and adapt quickly to different cultures and systems

B. Take Root: Fundamental business management skills and multicultural learning environment

In line with liberal arts education, students will be equipped with business management skills as well as an understanding of business ethics and corporate social responsibility practices. The all-English program and the learning environment composed of multi-national students, complemented by cross-cultural communication and English presentation and writing training, enable students to become accustomed to the situation of studying/working with students of other cultures in a second language.

C. Leap Upward: Cross-border mobility, stepping out of the comfort zone

Students can choose to go on exchange for one year or two years to obtain a dual degree at one of our partner institutions in cooperation with National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) or the College of Management. Our university currently has over 200 partner institutions in 42 countries throughout the five continents, so students are sure to be able to find a school they are interested in. The College has a dual degree program with leading business schools in the UK and Canada. Students can choose to study at:

  1. Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria (UViC), Canada
  2. University of Essex, UK

We will continue to cooperate and sign dual degree partnerships with prestigious universities in Europe and the United States to provide students with opportunities for in-depth study and cross-border learning opportunities to nurture international business talents.

D. Leap Upward: In-depth understanding of business management in Taiwan for international students

We will provide guidance to foreign students to further explore the business management culture of Southeast Asian countries, including Taiwan. Students can take all-English courses offered by our international master’s programs and the Department of Business Management (focusing on international corporates' operations and management, industries and markets, legal systems and other related issues in the Asia Pacific region), courses offered by the Department of Information Management (data science and data analytics), or courses offered by the Department of Finance (international financial management and investment). In addition to lecture courses, we also offer local action learning courses, overseas relocation teaching, and cross-country action learning courses to allow students to learn in depth about Taiwan and Southeast Asian communities.
